Bodog News: Adds Mac Client, Leaves Eastern Europe Countries08/06/2012
Bodog had previously been one of the few online poker rooms without an easy way for Mac users to play on their poker room. That all changed last week with the introduce of a dedicated Mac client that players can download through Bodog or the U.S. facing Bovada. Mac players should be able to locate the convenient link on the poker homepage.
Now over the weekend came news that the popular poker room would be leaving a handful of countries in Eastern Europe. If you are from one of the following countries you will not be able to register on Bodog or be able to play after August. Players are instructed to withdraw their balances:
Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Hungary, Israel, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan
Bodog stated that the move was made to "concentrate on our strengths and where we can offer the best product."
